This page explains how Friends and Followers Exporter handles information. Last updated September 4, 2026.

Information the extension processes

When you start an export, the extension processes information from the Facebook friends, followers, or following list visible to your account. This can include profile names, profile links, avatar URLs, and a profile URL or ID that you enter.

Where processing happens

Extraction runs inside your browser. Requests needed to read the selected visible list are sent to Facebook using your existing Facebook session. The developer does not receive the profile rows collected by the extension.

Storage and exports

Collected profile rows are held in the active extension interface while you review them. The CSV is generated on your device. Extension preferences and the random browser identifier may remain in browser extension storage until you change them, disable the extension, or remove it. This anonymous browser id is sent to our server for feature usage tracking, no personal information is included.

Detailed Mode

Detailed Mode is coming soon. This notice will be updated before it introduces different data processing or third-party services.

Detailed Mode notifications

If you ask to be notified when Detailed Mode launches, your email address is submitted through Tally and used to send you that launch update. Joining the notification list is separate from using the extension.

Third-party services

Facebook, Tally, and Cloudflare are third-party services with their own terms and privacy practices. Friends and Followers Exporter is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facebook or Meta.

Your responsibility

Only export and use information that you are permitted to access. You are responsible for how you store, share, and use any CSV you create.
